I can see that I guess. They do look bad. With all the talent on that side of the ball you should look better.
The Giants have not been getting any pressure and the DB's are being exposed. I though prior to the start of the season that the Giants were going to have oneo the best front 7s in the game.
They look weak right now. To me it looks like the NFC East has been exposed a little bit in the first 3 weeks.

Man, I totally stole that win. Ritz has gotta be down in the blues to lose to a team without any real runnings backs, wide receivers, etc....

He deserved it anyway. I mean he is a giants fan after all. No one other than a die hard Giants fan would keep playing the Giants Defense week after week.

P.S. thanks for the trade. That should help out your RB situation a little.

well the bye week has forced my hand. Don't count on the Giants D starting again. At least not until the Giants play Tampa Bay

Rella, I hate giving up Glenn...I just got him. But I think I need the RBs more. And one is supposed to be starting next week. We'll see how well they do.

Yeah I know what you mean I just got Buckhalter & Morris but I need a 3rd WR. I am solid not With Moss, Chad Johnson and Glenn. I also have enough backups to manage the bye weeks.
I was surpised you gave him up but you get the starting RB that you need. You have a lot more room at WR then RB. Now all yo uhave to do is pray for Westbrook to have his yearly injury and then you can plug in Buckhalter.
It only took 32 Moves but I think I like my team now!!!!

I like Coughlin, but if he can't get this team together, as talented as it is, maybe he is the problem. Still, nothing good is going to come from Shockey's comments Regardless of the issue, everyone who has ever played sports knows you don't air your dirty laundry in public. I don't think he meant to gain anything by saying what he did, because I don't believe he thinks about what he's saying. And therin is the problem.

"I don't think he meant to gain anything by saying what he did, because I don't believe he thinks about what he's saying. And therin is the problem. "
I don't disagree, but the same comments were made by Tiki Barber. Barber, being possibly the most intelligent person (not limited to players) associated with the NFL. Also, one of the pure "team first" attitude's in the NFL.
Honestly though... Shockey's quote, to paraphrase, was "the coaches sucked, the players sucked, this team is not where it needs to be". I don't really see the problem. He called himself out as well. It's a team game, if the team sucks, does that not include the coaches? I know it sounds like I'm defending Shockey but I'm not. I just feel that too much is being made out of it. If Coughlin wants to chastise Shockey for his comments, he will. Unfortunately for Coughlin, if he does, there's about 10 other players that he's going to have to punish as well.

Your right, he called out everybody. But I've never seen anything argued in the media like this come out with a positive ending.
Who knows, maybe the players have tried communicating with the coach and it hasn't helped. And now the frustration seeps out.

Coughlin brings some of this on to himself. He is a my way or the highway kind of coach. He would have had more toruble last year expcet that they were winning.
He is a Bill Parcell without the Superbowl Rings.
I do not think he will be there next year. The team is almost ready to munity.

I don't disagree with any of that, Rella. Course I would have said "without the Superbowl rings and heart attacks".. but that's just the bitter Giants fan talking.
I'm not sure that I'm ready to declare him voted off the island for next year though. If he turns things around after the bye and the Giants make the playoffs like they should, you never know. The player's aren't happy with him that's for sure. If there's anything we know from the Michael Vick/Dan Reeves situation - an owner has allegiance to it's frachise star, be that a player or a coach. Coughlin is no Bill Cowher, If Tiki gave an ultimatum, or Strahan gave an ultimatum etc. I'd think the brass would fire him

I agree. If he wins he will stay around but if they do not make the playoffs the players will throw him under the bus and drive over him again and again.
Coaches like him have to win or else the players get tired of all the shit they dish out.
I see you are going with Losman. He has looked good so far t his year. Much better than last year.
I have not decided between my 3 QBs yet.
Brunell, Grossman or Johnson?
The rest is pretty set.

I wouldn't go with Brunell against the Jags defense. I'd go with Grossman. Of course you shouldnt' listen to me. I'm 1-2.

I'm only going with Losman because Eli's on a bye week. I'd only start Losman over Eli if the Bills were playing the Niners or the Texans.
I agree with Clay, I'd probably go with Grossman for the consistancy but Johnson does has the better matchup... hmmm... tough decision.

I agree with Clay, I'd probably go with Grossman for the consistancy but Johnson does has the better matchup... hmmm... tough decision. That is how i see it. Grossman has been more consistant but Johnson is playing the Buffalo while Grossman is playing Seattle. The Skins fan in me wants to play Brunell against his old team but my head tells me no.
