All right, it's only been two games. But who can answer this question now.
Whatever they're throwing, they're sure catching a lot of 'em. The Throwing Catches have put up 247 points in two games. Are they the best? Or is that team one hammy twinge away from loosing that easy ride?

Great question.
His team looks good. He has a solid backup at each postion except for Def. KC sucks.
A lot will come down to bye weeks. What players are out for certain teams on a given week. For example when Balt doesn't play he will loose some points.
Baltimore is really the difference for him right now. 28 and 34 points from a D is huge.
To me it is all about depth in a league this big. If you loose 2 starters you are dead. There is no one in the FA pool. Trades will be non-existent if you are desperate.
If you look past the bye weeks to week 10 its all about making the 8 tream playoff and being one of the top 4 teams hopefully. At that point any teams number #1 roster can beat any other.
If I had to choose the top 2 today it would be Last Man Standing & Throwing and catching.
That is based on depth and current record.

my only hangup on The Throwing Catches is that the team hasn't made a single move. So right now they're just going off what they got in the draft. Once the bye weeks start in full force and a few injuries hit, how prepared will they be?

I know what you are saying.
He needs a backup TE
He has 3 QBs that are scoring 32+
He has 5 WR scoring 11+
He has 3 RBS scoring 16+
He has 2 kicker scoring 23+
Like I said his Defense is scoring like crazy. He really only has to tak them out once for a bye week, Balt will be a good play every week.
I agree that bye weeks will play a major role.

... if that's what he's got behind him.. he's doing alright
my problem with my defense is I'm stubborn. It's hard for me to take the Giants D out with how good they SHOULD be. I keep thinking as soon as I take them out they're going to have a breakout game with 5 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries and an INT. Hopefully that's this week. They'll need it

I'm actually fairly happy with my team. I wouldn't put me in the top 3, but I expect it to get me through a bit of the playoffs. I'm going to go with Last Man Standing as the best team right now. It looks to me that Throwing Catches may lose to me this week, and he has some good options to start but hasn't changed any of his starting lineup.

Throwing catches will have trouble at QB later in the year. The shine is off of Warner. After that he has Pennington and A Smith. He will also have trouble AT RB. No real backup. C Brown is potty at best. He has some good WR so he might be able to pull off a trade with Henry or Jennnings. Last man still looks good. Nothing really changed from last week. PlayerH8ters is in trouble because of Alexander and lack of depth. Even if Alexander comes back quickly he will not be the same. Of course undertaker is going down this week but his team is pretty good. He is a little weak at WR IMO. I realy like my team at this point thanks to Clays trade today. My only weak point is QB but the 3 guys I have should give me a good matchup each week. WR: Glenn, S Moss & C Johnson Backups:( Berrian & Br johnson + 5 Others) RB: Portis & Gore Backups: (Malroney & M Jone B Drew) TE: E. Johnson & D Clark Kicker Stover & Reed Def: Cinncy & New England I think I am moving up.

yeah, you've done a real good job setting up your team for down the stretch. I'm still pretty weak on depth but I really didn't have much to start with (as three or four of the players I got from the draft aren't playing, then the Porter thing). I had to scramble a bit after the draft for free agents

Yeah I think the Porter thing suck for you. I did not understand why they moved Gabriel instead of Porter.
Gabriel is not a bad player. I guess they wanted too much for porter.
As for my team I tried to build a lot of depth and give me choices later in the year as people emerge and people get hurt.
I got lucky on a couple of my trades. Gore has really worked out for me .
I figure as more people go down I have lot trade bait to get the QB I need to win this thing.

As the Bengals go, so go I.
And this week they went down the toilet.

Yeah Palmer had a rough day.
I hate to say it but 4 weeks in I am almost ready to give up on Chad Johnson.
Only 200 yards and 1 TD.
Berrian is looking better and better every week.
How about that Santana Moss.
